Our newsletter Grapevine is an e-zine publication which provides upto the minute news about the latest on the Disability Access Company and the disabled access market. Since the Disability Discrimination Act part I came into force in 1995, service providers have had a legal obligation to make sure disabled people have reasonable access to their services. Grapevine is intended to help those involved in the implementation of the Disability Discrimination Act to interpret and apply the new regulations more effectively. The grapevine is presently published half yearly, each edition focuses on the latest changes taking place with the Act, together with real life case studies outlining the measures being taken to ensure reasonable access for wheelchair users, ambulant, mother and child, visually and hearing impaired. |
