The Series 2000 family of products have been designed with safety in mind & built to BS5776 equipped with the following safety devices:

• Obstruction sensors on footplate & main carriage stop immediately on contact with obstruction
• Safety Belt
• Over speed governor and brake
• Top/bottom limit switches
• Thermal overload switch
• Armrest safety switch
• Swivel seat cut off switch (on swivel seat model)

Arm end caps fit comfortable into palm of hand and are angled to suit user when support is required during sitting or standing.
Push down \ pull up swivel release lever & toggle switch for users who may find operating buttons or small switches difficult.

Where the stair finishes into a hallway or in a line with a door, a hinge can be fitted to the track to avoid tripping hazards - only available on the 2000 series 7 models

For those who may find sitting a problem due to reduced knee flexion or those who prefer to stand

Height of the seat from floor and footrest can be adjusted to suit individual needs
